EVIF 2025, the 7th Guangzhou International Exhibition & Summit Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing of New Energy Vehicles, concluded successfully at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on April 10–11, 2025.

Under the theme of “Embark on a Smart New Journey, Forge a Digitally Innovative Future”, this summit gathered more than 2,000 industry leaders, technical experts and R&D elites from complete vehicle manufacturing, power batteries, electric drive systems and auto component sectors.

Adopting a “1+4” organizational framework, the event built an exchange platform covering the entire industrial chain of new energy vehicles, consisting of one keynote forum focused on intelligent manufacturing, four parallel sub-forums, and product exhibition showcases.

BINARY Showcases UR 7E and UR 12E Cobots

BINARY presented its new UR7E and UR12E cobots and engaged in in-depth face-to-face exchanges with attendees.

The booth showcased dual-arm coordination of collaborative robots. The two arms of the dual-arm robot can operate independently or work in tandem. Customers may combine different robotic arms according to their actual production requirements.

Furthermore, the dual collaborative solution supports mounting at any angle to accommodate various spatial layouts and payload demands, delivering exceptional flexibility. By integrating the URCap dual-arm plug-in and calibration software, the two arms can share a unified coordinate system to perform synchronized collaborative operations.

A single workstation offers multiple configuration options for users, boosting equipment utilization and enabling maximum flexible production capacity.

Speech Sharing

At the Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Forum for Vehicle Final Assembly, Zhang Lin, General Manager of BINARY, delivered a speech titled Application of UR Collaborative Robots in Vehicle Final Assembly. He analyzed the overall landscape of the manufacturing industry as well as the pain points in automotive final assembly production.

He elaborated on the strengths and application characteristics of collaborative robots, and shared multiple real-world customer cases of BINARY’s standardized cobot solutions deployed on production sites.
